'Just let it go, Eli. Let. It. Go' Elysia thought, taking a deep breath. She stood that the bottom of the steps to her small house, trying to calm herself. She had felt the panic slowly rising to the surface of her calm exterior and it wouldn't be long until it became an attack. The usual method of calming herself wasn't working, so she decided to go for a run. That would clear her head... wouldn't it? Taking another deep breath, Eli turned left, and started jogging. She kept her breathing even, and tried not to focus on the terror that wasn't going away. 'Let it go.... She took in a large breath, and quickened to a fast sprint. At this point she wasn't even noticing where she was going, or the fact that it was raining now; she only needed to keep herself from losing control.
A few minutes later, she got calm enough to slow down and check her surroundings. She saw that she was on a long, seemingly empty road in the middle of the woods. That, of course, didn't bother her, but there was an odd feeling in the air. Eli kept up her slower pace for a little while longer when she heard a car coming. She moved over a little to keep out of its way when she saw a small figure come from the bushes, lunging at a rabbit. She stopped, and only when she looked harder that she saw it was a boy. He was clutching the dead rabbit, absolutely covered in dirt. She raised an eyebrow, watching the strange scene. For a brief second, she wondered if he was a werewolf, but even if it wasn't raining, she doubted she'd be able to catch a scent through all that dirt.
The boy didn't seem to notice her, and seemed focused on the rusty car coming down the road for a second before darting into the woods. She sighed, and her suspicions on his species were confirmed. At the speed he was going, he was definitely a werewolf. The only question was, did she want to involve herself with it? After debating for a few seconds, Elysia ran off after him into the thick woods. The rain was still relentless, and she couldn't even try to catch the scent of the boy's dirty body in these conditions. She was able to see his faint form running away from her, so she sped up and used some of that werewolf speed to try and catch up.
