Warren still was getting hang of the whole hunting scene. He didn’t know if he ever would, but he felt he owed it to his dead girlfriend. He wanted to avenge her death. He missed her greatly and he didn’t know if he would ever be able to fill that void again. He wasn’t really looking per say either. He knew he couldn’t replace her really in his heart at least not for a long while it has been a few years now, but it feels like yesterday to him. He still has dreams of that camping trip and wished he could do things differently. He wished he had never went on that trip if he hadn’t maybe they’d be married by now or who knows gone their separate ways, but at least he’d have known and she’d be living her life and not six feet under. His mind wandered all the time repeatedly what happened.
His hunting friend was out right now with some woman he picked up earlier. Who knows when he’d be back. They were staying here a while so rented a furnished apartment for two. It was nice. It wasn’t like his home, but nice! He was left alone with his thoughts and it was getting way too loud in his head. He didn’t like it so went for a walk to clear his head. He of course had some weapons tucked away just in case something attacked him. He had to be prepared it was what Harken always said. He headed down the street to one of the local bars. He took a moment to take in the people, before heading to the bar.
He slid onto a stool, and waited for one of the bartenders to come over. “Whatever is on tap, Please?” He told the young woman and waited for her to return with it. Giving her a soft smile and sipping on his drink placing the cash on the counter. “Thank you.” He replied. He was raised to have manners and be polite for all he knew she was working here to help raised children or something. He wasn’t one to judge. He had taken in the surroundings it was a pretty nice place.
