His sides hurt. Everything just hurt. He swore there was something broken but wasn't sure what. This pain was worse than anything he could remember. Had he already forgotten the feel of being beat to death already? Life with Derek really had softened him a little bit.

Isaac was so glad that most of the students were gone. The school day was over and it was just club students left in the school, and those in detention. He was glad for this, though. It meant less people that could stumble upon him.

He ran his sleeve over his mouth, not caring that he got blood on it. His shirt was already a mess. There was a slight limp to his walk, as his right leg just did not want to work. He had only returned for one reason.

"Scott? Are you still here?" His voice shook as he spoke up. He didn't yell. He knew the other's werewolf hearing would help aid him in being located. He really needed Scott. He didn't know what would happen if the other wasn't here. He didn't want to think about it. Nor think about running into any of his packmates.

"Scott..." He found himself coughing as he stopped to lean against a locker. He knew it was a horrible idea to stop, that it was possible to get caught once more. But he needed to catch his breath.

Finally, the last bell of the school day rang and everyone, except for Scott jumped up and ran out of the classroom. Scott didn't feel like moving, but he had to leave to go to work soon but there wasn't something wrong that he just couldn't shake off. All he heard was heavy breathing and the strong scent of blood, he heard someone call his name. Scott recognized the voice as Isaac, he started to get panicky. What was wrong with Isaac? Was he hurt? Was it a trap to get them both killed? He didn't care what it was, he knew his friend and packmate was in trouble.

Scott followed Isaac's breathing and scent, he then started to break out into a run once he saw Isaac bleeding. "Isaac! What happened? Were you attacked?" He asked him, looking him over for any scratches or bite marks, he found none on him. "Are you healing?" He put a hand gently on Isaac's shoulder, looking him in the eye.

(So lazy...)

He hadn't felt this panicked in a while. He felt like the world would come crashing to an end at any moment. It hurt. He could almost feel the panic attack coming. He was doing his best to push the feelings down. Counting in his head wasn't helping. The thought of finding Scott did.

He didn't even know what would happen if he didn't find the other. He figured it would be bad. But he couldn't just settle on not finding Scott. If Scott wasn't around, maybe Stiles? He didn't have amazing luck. Actually, he had horrible luck. Knowing his luck, he wouldn't find Scott no matter how much he called for the other.

But then he smelt him. He heard his voice. And Isaac swore he was going to cry. Okay, he wasn't going to cry, but he could have. He was just so glad to see the other werewolf that it was actually a little overwhelming.

He cracked open his eyes to look at Scott, his breath short and shallow. "Alpha..." He struggled to say the words. "Alpha pack..." He swallowed hard. Each wound hurt horribly bad and was slow at healing. "Needed... to warn you." He didn't even have the faintest idea if Scott had encountered them yet. Heck, Isaac didn't even know if Scott knew there was an invading pack of alphas.

Scott was totally afraid right now, and probably Isaac was too. "The Alpha pack..." He growled and put his arm around Isaac, the alphas weren't his problem at the moment, Isaac's safety and health was. He looked down at the injured werewolf, which looked like he was on the verge of passing out. "Isaac, focus on my voice. I would take you to the hospital but then the doctors and probably my mom would ask you how you got these injuries." Scott began to walk down the school hallways and through the front double doors that led outside. Scott called his boss at the vet's office and told him what happened. "Isaac, I'm going to carry you to my work, Dr. Deaton will take care of you." Scott scooped up his friend and started jogging to the vet's office. He finally got there, and luckily no one was there at this hour. Dr. Deaton opened the door and looked at Isaac and nodded to Scott. Scott went to the back room and gently laid Isaac on the long, silver table and Dr. Deaton began work at once.

Isaac was trying to remember what happened. His memory was fuzzy. Although he did remember dirt. A lot of it. And laughter. He couldn't remember if it was a single person or double, his vision had been fuzzy. He probably hit his head a little too hard, or had it hit a little too hard.

The lanky teen flinched at the touch. He wanted to just pull away, make the touch go away. But it was Scott. He knew he could trust Scott, it was why he had tried to find him so much. He was just lucky he found Scott and not the Alpha from earlier.

"Not the hospital..." He knew his wounds weren't healing as quickly as earlier. Heck it had taken what felt like ages for his arm to heal just from Derek breaking it when he complained. All his injuries from Derek took a while to heal. He figured it had something to do with Alphas being above Betas. He wouldn't put it past the hierarchy being out to get him or something.

In his mind, he didn't understand why he was moving. Why he was walking. He felt safe here. He felt like school was a safe haven. Gerard was only a faint memory. But Scott was talking and Isaac could feel himself actually whimper. It hurt. "Not the vet..." He knew Deaton was a good guy, but still... He didn't like doctors of any kind. He didn't trust them since childhood.

Of course, that was the end of that. Whether he liked it or not, Scott scooped him up and took him away to the vets. It hurt, the entire moving locations. He almost wished that Scott would have listened and just let him heal slowly while hiding out at the school. But there wasn't much he could say now, especially when he felt on the verge of being sick.

Isaac whimpered at being placed on a table like he was nothing better than the other animals here. He tried to grab a hold of Scott's arm. There was still so much he had to tell Scott. He had to warn him. Warn him about the danger. Even Derek was nervous. He was afraid. "They're dangerous, Scott..." Was all he could manage to get out before wincing.

Scott felt bad for Isaac and he didn't know if he should call Derek or let his boss handle the injured boy himself. "Your going to be fine Isaac just close your eyes and rest." He glanced at his boss, who took a quick x-ray of Isaac to find out what was wrong with him. Dr. Deaton mumbled to himself about how Isaac should be healing. Scott sat down in a chair beside the silver table and looked at the x-ray and it showed that Isaac had several broke bones and a few cracked ribs. (I'm sorry if that's power play) He flinched at the thought of his friend having so many broken bones in several places. Dr. Deaton looked back at Scott and softly sighed. "It's going to take a couple of days but he will heal of his injuries, just try and help him get around.

Isaac wanted to be sick. His body just hurt that much. He just wanted to stay still, so tired of trying to move. But the vet's office didn't rest well in his mind. Part of him wanted to say protection but another part was still screaming danger. His body was stuck in flight mode.

"Easier...said than done." The teen replied when Scott told him to close his eyes and rest. He really wanted to but his body was too on edge to relax. Waiting for his attacker to return and finish what he had started. And, true, Isaac did try to close his eyes and relax. However, just seeing glowing red eyes in the darkness made him snap them open, breath coming harsh once again.

He settled on just remaining as quiet as possible to let the vet do what he had to do. Even though he was injured, he was still curious as to what was going on. However, exhaustion did overtake him after a couple minutes.

The voice snapped him awake, blue orbs glancing to look at Scott and the vet. "Scott? Don't tell Derek." He couldn't recall the words that were said to wake him up. He just knew he didn't want to bother his Alpha. He didn't know what Derek would say. What he would do.
