I don't care what people say
The rush is worth the price I pay
I get so high when you're with me
But crash and crave you when you leave

Isaac couldn't stand it. He was tired of the nightmares. He was tired of sleep and the fact that he was having trouble with nightmares. He needed a distraction. Sure, he could run. He could train. There was so much he could do. However, he wanted a different distraction.
He hadn't told Derek where he was going, not that he thought his Alpha would care. He left with a 'Don't wait up' and disappeared into the night. He knew Derek could find him if he wanted. But after waking up an hour ago from a nightmare, the werewolf just needed to get out of his house.
He had made sure to change before he left. T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers were so much more appropriate for where he was going. He barely had any trouble with the fake ID he flashed at the bouncer on his way in. The guy gave it one glance, glanced at him, then let him in. Sometimes it worked to his advantage to look old enough to get in. It wasn't like his ID said he was thirty. It wasn't a stretch to say he was newly 21 years of age. A couple years and he really would be 21. But he also came here whenever he couldn't sleep so knew the bouncer and bartenders by name.
He loved the sounds. The party was in full swing. The music made him more confident as he strolled in. The fog that rolled across the dance floor from the dry ice, the strobe lights, the blaring music from the speakers, and everyone dancing. He couldn't help the smile that graced his lips. He could only imagine what Erica, Boyd, or the others would say if they knew he was here.
No, no. He was here to forget all about werewolves, hunters, and pack. He was here to just be Isaac. Teenage boy who just wants to have a good time, to forget life. He didn't even know where to go first, grab a drink or dance. Of course, some girl decided to grab his hand and tug him into the dancing. It was the nice thing about clubs, you made friends quickly.
He didn't even know how it escalated into some three way dance with another guy, but it just gave Isaac horrible deja vu with Jackson and Erica. He lasted the song before he had to excuse himself for a drink. He stumbled through the crowd to the bar, sliding his ID to the bartender as he ordered a drink.
He was rather happy when it arrived. Although it came just as a voice decided to speak up to him. The music barely drowning the person out. However, his werewolf hearing made him hear them just fine.
