It's only half past the point of no return
The tip of the iceberg.
The tip of the iceberg.
Stiles looked around the mall, searching for a good place to eat. Truthfully, he’d eaten at all of the places at least once before, some more than others, but he was hoping to go to a place that was relatively new, one that he hadn’t been to hundreds of times before. It was a small hope, since really, what else did he have to do when he wasn’t hanging out with Scott, watching movies with his dad, or playing lacrosse? Well, he figured the mall was the best place to do much of anything, so he was happy to go about window shopping on food. He finally settled on a Thai food place, getting his favorite, some unpronounceable few words that essentially meant really big noodles with broccoli, eggs, steak in a sweet type of sauce. He adored it so he didn’t care for much of anything else. After paying for his meal he ambled his way over to an empty table, taking up a good portion of it with the sheer amount of snacks he’d gotten to accompany his meal.
He didn’t spend much time savoring his food, surprisingly still being able to taste it even with the way he wolfed it down completely. Stiles sat back a short time later with a hand on his incredibly still flat stomach, groaning happily. He was utterly stuffed, and loved it. Honestly, he and everyone else considered it a wonder he wasn’t fatter than a pig at the end of each day, because even with his ADHD, he would never have thought that he could burn that many calories, but hey, he wasn’t complaining. He was over the moon at that fact, especially since he got all the more energy from that much food too. The lanky teen dumped his trash before getting up to wander around the mall, soda in hand, sipping now and then as his free hand drummed a consistent cacophony of rhythms on his thigh, unable to stand or sit still even to eat or drink.
As he wandered around the mall, he found himself wondering whether or not he should grab some things, either movies or video games, and was debating on that fact when he bumped into someone. ”Whoa, sorry there. Didn’t see you, at all, I mean, talk about blind spots, I-The name’s Stiles.” he said quickly, before offering a hand to settle them and make sure he hadn’t completely obliterated them when he’d charged into them.
