It's only half past the point of no return
The tip of the iceberg.
The tip of the iceberg.
Stiles couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty. Here he was, going out with the girl he’d loved since elementary school, and he knew that it wouldn’t come to anything. He knew deep down, and maybe that was why he’d moved on, slowly but surely he’d moved on to accept another into his life in that place in his heart. Sure, Lydia would always be his first love but, really, she wasn’t ever going to be anything more to him. He knew that Jackson needed a woman like Lydia in his life, knew that the other teen was going to try and win her over once more, get her back, even as he knew he’d be there on the sidelines, there to offer comfort if and when she needed it. Not that she ever took up his offer, sometimes she did, and sometimes she didn’t, but either way. Stiles knew he wasn’t going anywhere for the time being, for now.
The red haired teen cleaned her throat and frowned a little.“Not like…I didn’t miss you…Specifically…Just…The gang…You know?”She said and he nodded, shrugging a shoulder. ”Sure, I know. The gang and all that. Right.” He said, and in a way he did. Hell, he’d missed the gang and he hadn’t even gone anywhere. Really over summer they’d all just been busy with their own lives, not everyone else’s.“It’ll be good to get back to normal.”She said and he laughed wryly as he pulled into the drive in and got their spot, relatively close, a good spot. ”Yeah, as normal as we can get.” Stiles commented easily, shrugging again.
