Well I've got nothing left to prove
Cause I've got nothing left to lose
See me bare my teeth for you

Isaac always liked the park. He loved the laughter of the world around him, the voices of parents always telling their kids to be safe. He used to love being here as a child. He could remember the way he would chase his brother, usually after Camden pushed him off the swing or jumped off the see-saw and left Isaac to come crashing down to earth. He could remember his mother's smiling face when he could go down the slide and she would be right there to catch him. Even his father seemed to behave when they were here. They were pleasant memories.
Fingers clutched the bars of the swing he was settled on. He was just sitting there, staring at the ground beneath his feet. The sounds of children were long gone. Darkness had long since crept over the town. Children were at home with their parents, safe from that which bump in the night. It was when he would come, when he knew he wouldn't have to face people.
It wasn't that he was afraid of being around others. He went to school and played Lacrosse, he interacted with people on a daily basis. It was just that he liked the silence that an empty park would bring. He was sure that the park closed at sunset, but there wasn't anyone around to tell him to go home. Besides, there really wasn't a true place to call home.
Sure, he could consider the abandoned railway car his home. It was warm, dry. It might not smell good most the time. However, it was better than nothing. It was better than sleeping outdoors. Although he would even prefer the burnt down Hale house over going back to the home he was raised in. There wasn't enough money in the world to get him to return to that house.
With a small sigh, the werewolf began to rock his swing just a little. His thoughts were deep, as they usually were. He couldn't help but chew on his bottom lip while he tried to not tune out the world around him as he tried to solve the mysteries of life he still was seeking answers for. He didn't like surprises, didn't want to be caught off guard. So, although he looked quite deep in thought, he was still slightly aware of his surrounding.
