It was a busy evening and Lexi found herself helping out at the bar since Ben had taken the night off. In all honesty, she really enjoyed these evenings when she could just pretend to be one of the help and not have to worry about fifty million things that running a club entailed.
Dressed in supple black leather pants that hugged her lithe frame and a crimson red halter top that accented her killer curves, the sexy blond halfling filled drink orders in good time and then told Everett she was going to bring up some more bottles of the hard stuff.
Slipping into the back room, she went through her list of what was needed and then placed the bottles into a crate that she could carry. Taking the opportunity to slip upstairs and call her sister to check in. She'd been leaving Salem at their house more and more these days, much to Damons disgust and Kaybug's joy, and she wanted to make sure her own "kid" wasn't causing to much trouble. Plus, it was her one life line to a place that didn't revolve around work. Thankfully, it seemed Salem was on his best behavior though and after making kissy noises to the phone for Kayla and telling Karlie that she loved her, she hung up and gave a little sigh of happiness. It was so nice to see her family happy, she thought almost wistfully.
Sighing a bit, she got to her feet and then went down to pick up the box of alcohol. Carrying it in front of her, she wandered back out front and was just putting the bottles away when a vibration went through her and she carefully turned to look up and down the bar. Her keen eyes scanned every face and feature for the unnameable something that sent warning bells clattering in her head. It wasn't' until she'd turned her attention to the other side of the bar that she found the general area of concern.
Since the bar was divided on levels, there were three different sections of counters. The top level, where she stood, was reserved for VIP's. The other two levels were situated on opposite ends of the house and it was at the one closer to the door that she found the creature that set of the alarms.
"Everett... Watch the bar.... Call Erik over if you need him.." she said suddenly, giving her bartender a closed look before slipping from behind the mahogany and heading towards the far side of the club. Unsure if trouble awaited or something else, she carefully scanned the crowd as she went. When she reached the area in question, she frowned, still feeling that niggling feeling at the back of her neck but unable to identify just what was causing it.
