And no man is an island, oh this I know
But can't you see, oh?
Maybe you were the ocean, when I was just a stone

Isodelle wanted to sigh. It had been a long school day. She really just wanted to go home. Some students had decided that playing pranks in class had been appropriate, which it had not been. She had seen to it that they had detentions. Then there were the students who kept asking her what she wanted for Christmas. That just made things a little more awkward.
She really just wanted to go home, but there was still swim practice. She was quite ready to just cancel it. But she knew that everyone was probably in the locker room getting changed. With a swim meet in a couple days, she couldn't bring herself to cancel. They could use the practice. It wasn't like they were a bad lot. No. They were really good. But they always wanted to be better.
Izzy tucked blonde strands before her ear as she just walked down the hall, heels clicking with every step. But she was feeling like something was off lately, like there was something following her. She was getting that feeling again and it made her stop in the empty hallway. She looked around, but didn't see anyone. She didn't see anything.
"Hello?" It was perhaps that she didn't see what she thought was there that was driving her to feel a little insane. She felt like she was losing her mind. There was something familiar about the feeling but also completely foreign. She just had to brush it off. She was alone.
Or that's what she thought as she turned and nearly crashed into a someone else. Out of shock, Isodelle dropped her bag, its contents spilling out all over the floor of the hall. Her heart was hammering in her chest. "I-I'm sorry." She knelt down and began to pick up her things. Her hands wouldn't stop shaking as she tried to pick them up.
