Zerachiel blinked at the words. This girl really did have a gentle soul. He could see that and he really knew there was hope for her, or so he hoped. He always had hopes for everyone. "You have a gentle soul." He decided to speak up on his thoughts. There was a gentle smile slowly gracing his lips. He was growing to learn that smiling was good, and he was doing it more and more.
The angel tried to think about it. "It's not hard." He shrugged. "I also teach kindergarteners. Compared to a class of names, six names is nothing." It was easy to remember. Heck he knew thousands of names, thousands of faces. Every child was important to him and he wanted to know who they were, everything about them so he could try to give them a childhood they deserved. Sometimes a child or two fell through the cracks and guilt would plague him. But he did his best.
Zerachiel shifted. He could tell the other was in pain. He just watched her for a minute. "No. There is nothing to be sorry about." He had long since forgotten that there were children with special abilities running about. He should have known better. But he could not blame her for her own ability, one which she was not able to control.
