Her head was spinning. It was more her boyfriend's thing to be skipping class but after five minutes of dissecting frogs, she'd run off feeling nauseas. She knew that really she should have gone back but she couldn't face it. She had to get away. Instead she was sat on the bleachers. Her legs bent out from her knees and she held her head in her hands, bright blonde strands resting between her fingers as her pink tips fell down by her knees. She was kidding herself if she thought she could keep ignoring this. If nothing else she was running out of make up hiding the dark circles. A house full of people, someone was bound to notice, so it was about time she told Riles. Lifting her head she shuffled her hair back off her face and pulled her phone out of her pocket. Her fingers tapped against the screen, reluctant to press send. As soon as she did she sighed and looked over the message she'd sent. Every second that passed was like hell. 

▒Riles? Are you in class right now or are you smoking with your friends behind the gym?▒

Class he hated class. Why did he have to go to school again? He didn’t know. Some day’s he really considered dropping out, but knew his mother would have his ass if he did. When at his locker he looked at his book and had decided that he would skip history class. It was lame and boring to him, he’d probably hardly remember anything from the subject anyways, and he was dying for a cigarette. Therefore, he indeed did decide to skip. If they came and found him oh well. He was having withdrawals here and needed it. He hated being in class all day without one and hell they needed a break.

He couldn’t’ wait until lunch. Why oh why can’t they have in between class breaks more then five minute and let people stretch was beyond him. Some people enjoyed history so it saved them the trouble of listening to him snore this class period. He was always getting in trouble and detention for that. It sucked. Riley was outside when his phone buzzed in his pocket, slipping it outside his jeans he looked to see who it was it was a text message from Evie. She knew him too well to know he was skipping and he frown thinking. ‘awe shit she is gonna give me hell too isn’t she?' Him getting to class and getting good grades always seemed important to her and hell he was discussing Halloween party idea’s with some mates. Halloween was one of his fave times of the year.

Riley quickly typed back a message…::: Well that depends if you’ll chew my head off for not being in class… because I can lie and say I’m in class.::: He knew he would be getting detention today for it most likely anyways. So he was really expecting her to chew his chain again about skipping. He didn’t know she had skipped.


Notes :: Now if I only could get my others a little shorter and I’d be mint. Will find a gif soon for these. I don't think I have hunted any down for Riles.

You could say that she knew her boyfriend a little too well! She was sure he had history this period and since they were young she'd been helping him cram the night before every history test they'd ever had. She smiled as she thought it over, her cheeks glowing with colour they hadn't seen for a couple of weeks. She missed the days when they were young and crazy in love. She didn't ever want to graduate or lose the days when she had to spend all night with him and run to starbucks at six when it opened. She chewed on her thumb nail, careful of her night black polish as she read his reply.

He didn’t know if he should lie and tell her that he was in class so he just had typed out that message, his cigarette dangling from his lips as he had typed it and was now anxiously waiting for her reply wondering why she had wanted to know if he was in class. Was it to give him hell or did something happen and he started to think up the worst possible scenario’s is Reah okay? Did a car hit Patrick? Did her mom come and try to take Reah from her daddy again? He didn’t know and he was itching with worry he practically began to scratch at his arm really expecting her to back lash at him for not being in history and this is the reason why they had to study all night before exams so he could pass them….

He had often wondered if she had hated him for it. He didn’t know. He really didn’t .She didn’t really moan when she had to stay up or do six am coffee runs, but here he thought she’d let him have it and when he got her reply. His cigarette left lips and to the ground with his shocked expression that she was at the bleachers. Why was she skipping class? Then the itchy bubbly worries surfaced again… “I got to go,” he told his fellow skippers. “We will talk more about this party later.” He said and waved them good-bye.

:::“I’ll be right there.” ::: he had texed back. Every possible out come of worries running in his brain. He had walked along ducking some of his teachers as he made his way to where Bee was at, walked up to where she was on the bleachers. “I didn’t take you for the skipping class type. Is there something wrong?”  He asked awaiting her answer.

Evie read his text and waited for him. She'd put her head back into her hands as she waited for him. She couldn't help fiddling her fingers through her hair. With strands down to her waist, it was almost impossible to leave it be. The smell of coconut condition wafted around her as she played. It probably would have been candy apple if Misty hadn't used the last of her shampoo. She longed for the feel of her babe's arms around her right now, for her cat curled up on her lap as she laid there. Instead she sat out in the October sun alone. That was until a voice broke through the silence. Despite the fact her whole body sighed with relief as she laid her eyes upon him, all her face could muster was a warm half smile. "I got sick..."

She sighed a little and patted the seat next to her. She knew she would have wanted him there anyway, just purely for the fact she wasn't feeling well, but she also knew the real reason she'd texted him and the things she needed to tell him. For that reason she couldn't help but feel guilty. It wasn't her fault and she had no reason to do so, but she felt so guilty she was almost sick to her stomach.

Riley had made it to the bleachers as fast as he could. Sure, they both will probably end up in detention, but ah well. Maybe it would be worth it if they were caught, but he had to find out what was up with her first. At least he didn’t seem to startle her too much as he walked up to her and asked her why she had skipped class. She eyed him and she had a half smile and said she got sick. Oh noes he hoped she wasn't coming down with the flu or something. She patted the seat next to her for him to sit and he made his way up to where she had sat, and sat next to her looking her over. “ Did you go see the nurse? “ He asked eyeing her searching for some kind of indication that she had. Did she need a ride home? He didn't know, but he sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her leaning in to kiss her forehead and waited for her reply.

Riley was actually relieved it wasn't Patrick died or Reah was in the hospital again or that her mother had came to try to take Reah. That woman was a piece of work. “Did you want to go home?” He asked her. He could bring her home if that is what she really wanted. He didn't know why she was sick. He hadn't a clue and he hadn't really noticed anything different about her either. She of course smelled of coconut today instead of her normal shampoo, but he knew that was because his sister used it all. Damn thief she is. He hated she always used all their stuff and yes it was their since he used it too and did not give a poop if people thought he smelt a little girly under his cologne.

His arms felt so right, she couldn't help but melt into him as he kissed her upon her head. Her eyes closed and for a moment she reached out and let her fingers tangle into his shirt. She felt so helpless. She wasn't used to being sick, but it was the nerves making this all worse. "No, if I went to the nurse she'd ring my Dad and I know he's working." She didn't want to bother him, of course she lived with Riley but her dad was still her legal guardian and her next of kin and he already had to collect her last month after she hurt her foot playing basketball in heels... Not the best idea she'd ever had.

As he asked if she wanted him to take her home, she moved her head so she could look up at him, still holding the rest of her body to him. "I need to talk to you first..." She took a deep breath and started. "That's why I asked you to come here. I didn't want to wait. Besides if we were at yours we would barely get a minutes peace and... This needs to just be us, ya know?"

He had held her close as he asked her about the nurse and if she went to see her. Evie’s hands had tangled in his shirt. He was told if she had went there the nurse would have called her dad and she didn’t want that and he couldn’t blame her since he was working. “I see yeah maybe you shouldn’t have her call him then if he is working and if you are not that bad and all.” He had said rubbing her back hoping she wasn’t too bad after all. If she was bad and needed to go home, he could take her and come back or something.“I don’t see why they don’t just let my mum be on your dismissal slip. She’d come get you in a pinch if your dad is working.” Evie after all basically lived with them, but they would have probably wanted her dads permission or something first. She had told him about her daddy bringing her home last month.

Riley asked if she wanted him to bring her home. She had looked up at him, as she was hugged close to him. She had told him that she needed to talk to him first. He arched a brow at that. “Okay.”He had stated wondering why they needed to talk. That actually made him a little nervous. Perhaps she would yell at him now for skipping class who knows. She then explained it is why she had asked him to come here and how their place they would not have a moment of peace. It was true at his house there was always someone home to ease drop on conversations and he said this had to be just them and that worried him. “Is everything okay? You’re not dying are you?” He asked. He was worried this is why she was sick. Was she dying of cancer or something? He didn’t know if he could handle that if she was dying. He ran his fingers threw her hair stroking it softly as he waited for her to explain more before he thinks the world is going to end.

She had to laugh. She knew it was completely the wrong time but she couldn't help but laugh at him. A smile graced her lips as she teased him. "Trust you to jump straight to DYING! Is it wishful thinking?? Trying to get rid of me?" She winked at him but as much as she teased, she knew Riley, she knew he'd just think the worst. She chewed on her lip for a moment before eventually just sighing. "I think I might be pregnant, Riley." Her heart stopped. She knew it wouldn't start again till she said something, anything.

Riley of course had jumped straight to dying when she said they needed to talk alone that was the worst thing he could think of when having to talk alone. Second on his list would have been her breaking up with him. It too would be something she’d probably would have wanted to do if they needed to speak alone. Alone time wasn’t really something that happened often at his house. Someone was always about doing something. She had said leave it to him to jump to that and asked if he was trying to get rid of her and if it was wishful thinking. He shook his head. “No never why would I be trying to get rid of you?” he asked. She had winked at him so knew he’d have thought the worst. It was a Riley thing to do.

He waited for her to explain more at why they needed to talk alone. He watched as she chewed on her lip deep in thought and waited… he kept tapping his free hand on the bleachers while the other was running threw her hair. She had then said she had thought she might be pregnant and he blinked it took a few minutes for them words to sink into his brain. They usually had been careful at trying to avoid things such as that, but now he could see why she wanted to speak alone. “You’re sure?” he asked her. “Maybe we should take you to see a doctor?” He wasn’t mad nor would he freak out. He just wanted to be sure.

“What do you want to do about it if you are?” he asked it was her body and it was her choice of course he’d want to keep it. He’d make a good daddy one day sure he didn’t think this soon, but sometimes life doesn’t always go how one plans. He sighed at least that wasn’t the end of the world in his book. Dying was much worse. He waited to see what she thought what she wanted to do. Searching her eyes for any indication on what she was really thinking of feeling. “ How come you didn’t tell me sooner?” He asked. Was there a reason she hadn’t? Was she scared he’d lash out at her tell her its not true tell her the cliché line that it isn’t his?
