Vetis isn't the type who actually likes do gooders. He loves to see the rise and fall of people. He loves being behind their fall, it always gives him some sick satisfaction. He isn't full of himself, as he does know his limits. But he does appreciate corruption and loves to be involved.

Vetis is the snake you don't actually want to cross. He has yet to actually let go of a contract, let a person escape with their soul. He claims every last one of them and will get rid of anyone who gets in his way. Those whom he makes a deal with belong to him. And he can become possessive of them, but not all that often. He views them more as puppets and loves to twist their wishes to suit his needs. He likes to make people suffer.

Humanity doesn't matter much to him. They're just people he can corrupt, bodies he can steal. He has never really fallen for the bodies he takes over. He has a love for male bodies but has used female ones to corrupt people in power. Nothing makes him more happier than to take down those in powerful positions. Veti prefers the human world over hell because he can do whatever he wants and have fun.

He rarely gets attached to humans, but he will make exceptions once in a blue moon. The first one was Amalthia. There was something about her that intrigued him. He has yet to regret it as he adores having someone so loyal. He has grown to be possessive of her. She is his and no one else's. The second person he has grown rather attached to is the Sheriff. Never really viewing anyone in this world as a father figure, he sees the Sheriff as such. He admires the Sheriff and does not feel guilty about sneaking the Sheriff curly fries even though he knows Stiles wouldn't be pleased. But oh well. He likes chaos and causing trouble

Vetis likes to feign innocence and acting human. He's a good actor. But he does have his weaknesses. He can't drive a car, mostly since he doesn't exactly like being behind the wheel of a car and can barely stand being in the passenger seat. He much prefers the feeling of freedom a motorcycle provides. Him and confined spaces just don't mix.

this is the story of my life

Vetis felt like he walked the earth for thousands of years, constantly changing his appearance. Young, old, man, female, rich, poor, he was them all. He made deals for wealth, for power, for love. He made deals of all kinds. However, they all ended with the person's soul becoming his. They would die in unexpected ways right after attaining their goals. And how he loved to return to hell just to laugh in their faces at how foolish they were in thinking that a deal with a demon would have a happy ending.

He was growing actually quite bored of the same thing. It was why he was quite surprised to be sought out by a woman wishing for immortality. He offered it, on one condition. She would serve him for the rest of her life, or until he decided to free her. Living life alone was boring, and he knew there was something quite different about Amalthia. And he couldn't help but smirk when she agreed.

He followed her hunting spree, satisfied in the immortal monster he helped create. He was proud to say that he gave life to a monster, that he would proud of Amalthia and the fear she installed. It caused more deals to be made with him. Although he still had them killed anyway. No one said he liked to play fair. But he did adore Amalthia, growing to become possessive of her. She was as immortal as himself, meant to live life forever alone. But they could do it together, of course.

Vetis allowed the girl to travel on her own, do as she pleased. As long as she did what he wanted when he asked of it, he left her to run her own life. He did, of course, check up on her. But he was no babysitter. He was not going to babysit a grown woman. He had souls to collect, deals to make. He had his own life to lead.

However, the beacon that was Beacon Hills even attracted him. It had nothing to do with making deals or Amalthia moving there. There was just something attractive about the town. His first step in California was to make a deal. Of course, it resulted in the Vetis taking over his body, using him as his meat suit. He actually liked being young once more, having spent the last couple years as an elder gentleman. But the name Franklin just made him groan. Who honestly named their kid Franklin? Oh well.

He took up a position in the local police force just so he could be close to the action. Of course, he couldn't help but smirk at knowing he was actually close to Amalthia once more. He figured she could come in handy if he needed her. But, for now, he has left her to run her own life. Just as he is playing pretend with his own. But he's quite excited. He knows something big is going to happen and he can't wait.
