Aleksi wasn’t really bothered at all at the company of the young man beside him. Sure, normally he probably would have been a bit put off by the fact that the teen was drunk, but he wasn’t one to judge, and he was good company anyways. Besides, it was nice to talk with someone, whether they made sense or not. And as far as Alek was concerned, the kid was a good kid, nice personality, and the flashes he kept getting, mere things, all hinted at the dedicated student that he no doubt was. The teen glanced at his notebook, and Alek knew he himself was more than likely getting sucked back into his own little world, one of the main reasons why he didn’t often socialize."Something troubles you?"Alek shrugged slightly, trailing his smudged fingertips over the cover of the book absently. ”Something always seems to trouble me. It is nothing of worry, besides, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you.” He said, in no ways bitter, just easygoing, speaking his mind.
Laughter left the teen when he spoke up, that grin of his remaining as he spoke."Just a little, that or I just never bother to tell them my last name nowadays. If they want to find out, they can look it up themselves."He said, and Alek nodded, smiling. ”That is true. These days it takes but a first name for someone to know another, seeing as for the most part, most people forget who they work with, or who they met or talked to, within hours of leaving their presence, so they have no need for last names.” He agreed, hoping that he wouldn’t lose the young man with his own stilted ways of speaking. After all, his speech wasn’t the most conventional for someone with alcohol hindered thought processes."You've been alone most of your life?"Danny asked, and Alek smiled faintly,"Do you mean...er, your family or romantically?"He added, and the Frenchmen couldn’t help his chuckle. ”I suppose, in a way, you could say both. I don’t often get along well enough with anyone to get into a relationship with them, and after the death of my father, well, needless to say I didn’t often venture out of my safe spots.”
It was of no trouble for Alek to help the younger male out. After all, that was what he was there for. He was forever trying to help others, even if it wasn’t an ideal situation to try helping someone in, he never cared. He eventually realized that Danny was more listing into him than carrying his own weight, but he’d been expecting it, and took the added weight without too much extra struggle, making their steady progression towards his loft."Yeah, ready as I'll ever be. Hopefully I won't pull you over cause you know, we're both kinda tall."He said, and Alek chuckled quietly, shaking his head. ”Don’t worry, I’m stronger than I look.” Odd, considering how often he went days with minimal food and sleep and the like, but hey, he wasn’t questioning a good thing."I'm just an excellent judge of character,"Danny joked, before shrugging."But a sister, huh? Is she here too?"At the question, Alek shook his head once more, smiling ruefully. ”Both fortunately and unfortunately she is not. But I hope she will be, soon.” He said as his loft came into view.
