It's only half past the point of no return
The tip of the iceberg.
The tip of the iceberg.
Stiles pulled on his jacket and left the house, the brisk chill of the morning masking the fact that in a couple of hours it was going to be pretty darn hot out. He shivered once before settled and began his walk to his favorite spot for breakfast in the morning. The bakery. He hummed tonelessly, not really thinking of much, which honestly, was a big surprise considering his level of attention. The teen pushed his hands into his pockets, craving a cappuccino and a ton of sugary treats. He didn’t think that he needed any more sugar to give him energy, but hey, when one didn’t get a lot of sleep most nights, well, he thought it only fitting that he eat massive amounts of food to make up for the sleep loss. He knew that it didn’t, not really, but he also knew he didn’t want to do nothing all morning, as it was a great morning, and he knew those muffins and donuts were calling his name.
He saw the bakery come into sight in town up ahead of him, and he focused on not quickening his step any, not wanting to look like some kind of starving man when he got there. No need to scare people off. Though that would get him more opportunities for food. He chuckled at the thought but didn’t make any move to carry it out, even as his feet drew him closer to his destination, and finally he pulled the door open before stepping inside, listening to the adorable little bell chime his entrance as it did every morning. Some days the time varied, sometimes he was there right as they opened, other times he was there later on, like normal people. Today was one of those normal days. He headed to get in line, and stopped his humming as he did so, supremely conscious of the fact that there very well could be supernaturals in the bakery with him, supernaturals with great hearing, and he figured they wouldn’t want to listen to his horribly off tune whistling.
The lanky teen finally got up in front, and he bounced on the balls of his feet for a moment before grinning sheepishly. ”I’ll have a French Vanilla cappuccino, a coconut cream donut, a peanut butter filled chocolate covered donut, a glazed donut, a Boston cream donut, a blueberry muffin, and…an apple fritter.” He said, knowing that the people that took the orders had to know him on a personal level by now, considering he got a ton of food each time, and was always open to having someone sit down and join him while he pigged out on the massive amounts of food he got. He paid for his breakfast and carried it off to an empty table, sliding into the booth before cupping his drink in his hands, breathing in the heady scent before he took a long drink.
Stiles took another long sip before he set it down and dug into his breakfast, starting with the coconut cream first, grinning to himself at the veritable sugar coma he was going to put himself in. Hopefully someone would join him, lighten his sugary breakfast a little, as he was always happy to share his food with anyone who would come and talk with him in the mornings. He knew many people weren’t morning people, but he hoped the thought of great food would lure them over.
