you think you know me, but you don't know me!
It wasn't Skyler's first time being in a library--at most--it was one of her favorite places within the school. It was quiet, nothing seem to be going on in here, and it was that knowledge that sold Sky. She wasn't social, but she wasn't socially awkward either--she just preferred to be alone when it came down to studying or reading.
She wasn't sure why, perhaps it was just a habit that she gotten from Scotland, she didn't have friends there, though she did have a friend or two now. She browsed through the shelves of the library trying to find something to read since she had now finished studying for an up and coming test. It wasn't that hard to figure out, but she really should stay away from math now.
It was a pain in the ass, but it had to be done as she didn't want to end up with anything below a C--which unfortunately she had in that class. Anything lower, and she would have to stop going to her clubs. She did not want to be out of them--she liked being in them, with people that understood her likes on the subjects, and especially with the advanced cooking.
She made a few friends, one of the few being Emeric, but other than that she didn't seem to have any trouble from the Faery. Okay--so she had at least one friend, but that didn't mean she was going to be popular right away right? She was a new student in a new place. Other than that, she also seem to scare away some of the kids as well.
Let them think what they want Skyler--because no matter what--they don't know what happened, and they have no right to judge or know either.
Everyone knew of the tragedy that struck Sky's family, but they didn't know what really happen that night--only she did. Though she had to admit--she really didn't want to be the Pack Alpha. It was hard enough as it was being a teenager, but to be an Alpha of the pack as well? That was like placing a bunny in a den of foxes.
"I'm going to be torn to pieces....."
She let the words in the air before she set about searching for a book again, one caught her eye that she never read before. She tilted her head looking at it before pulling it out and reading the cover. "Call Of The Wild" she said looking at the book from front cover to back cover before reading the plot summary.
She never read this story before, though it seemed strange, but her father didn't have that many books. Even with his travels--there were certain things that he never brought back home, and Skyler never remembered seeing this in her library. She pulled it out as she decided that it would at least make an interesting read.
As she came out of the aisle that she was currently residing in, she bumped into someone, "sorry about that..." She didn't give a second glance until her nose caught the smell, and her brows scrunched as if she was in deep thought looking at the person's--chest? She looked at his face for a moment trying to place the scent--Werewolf.
"Um...right--sorry about that" she said turning away heading towards the table that held her things wanting to keep away from the man. A werewolf, was he pack-less--no that didn't seem to be the case--it looked like he was searching for someone.... Better not to get in the way of another pack....
