There's only so many times you could ring one person! Sure... he was probably on a hunt and Kell was probably on his ass... But for the 14th time (yes, literally 14, she counted!) she was ringing Colt's phone!

"Oh for fuck sake..." mutters to himself as he flashes his badge at a cop and hears his phone ringing for yet the 14th time. "Look, man... I gotta take this call. You'll find everything is in order like my partner said. Dude attacked us when we went in to serve the arrest warrant.."

Making a motion to Kell to take over, Colt pulled out his cell even as the EMT tried to stitch up the slash in his side.

"Yo Chevy.. This had better be good..."

"Where the HELL have you been?? You need to get here... NOW!"

Chey's voice was that perfect combination of irritated, panicked and completely flustered, but the irritated was something that no one was really used to from little Chevy!

The tone of her voice immediately had his attention. Shifting his focus from the events of the night, he frowned as he turned away from the flashing lights.

"Whats going on? Are you hurt? Is it Ryder?"

"Oh we're just fine! Your ex wife might not be so fine if I get my hands on her! I've just lied to social services and I'm pretty sure that can land me in jail!!!"
