Part of being a hunter was being able to play any part needed. Sometimes it was a cop, sometimes it was a waitress, sometimes it was something a bit more revealing. Like ..say... impersonating a stripper. Luckily for Jessie, she'd always had a talent for dancing so when the case came up that required a more..feminine approach, she'd taken it without batting an eye. Curse had been hesitant about giving her the file when she'd come across it on his downstairs work bench but finally had given in when she promise him that she'd call if she needed help.

Since she didn't plan on needing help, she figured it was a safe enough bet.

Pausing only long enough to pack a bag and then leave a note for Colt with Chey, Jessie had hit the road to San Francisco. A few hours drive and she was pulling into the lot of a strip joint on the outskirts of town. Another hour and she had a try out gig inside and her first really solid lead on her case. A pretty face was a sad thing to waste, indeed, she decided as she slide back behind the wheel. She couldn't help the smirk that crossed her features as she pulled back out and drove to the nearest motel to grab a room.

Since it was two in the afternoon and she wasn't due back at her new "job" till eight that evening, she parked the Charger and headed inside to grab a few hours sleep. She figured she'd need it for the extra late hours she'd be keeping the next few days. A nap and a quick shower later and she was back on the job, ready to discover just what might be lurking on the backstreets of the Golden Gate Bridge city.

Entering the dimly lit "club" Jessie ignored the leering looks the bouncer gave her as she told him what she was there for and then followed one of the scantily clad waitresses towards the back. After a short, dully spoken series of directions, she found herself at a tacky dressing station and the focus of more than a few shrewd yes. Great. Tossing her bag down, she met one of the gazes and arched a brow.

"Hey... I'm Mandi... Anyone care to tell me what set I'm doing?"

At her words, all the women turned their noses up at her and made of show of talking among themselves. Smirking a bit, Jessie sat down with a shrug and started putting her own "face" on. What a bunch of cats, she thought to herself even as she busied herself observing and noting details about each one as she got ready to put on a "Show" for the patrons.

A half hour later and her name was called, making her mentally groan as she got to her feet. Well, here went nothing she decided as she slide out of her seat and headed for the stage. It was a good thing Chey always made sure Jessie kept limber with all that ballet stuff because this was going to be a disaster otherwise.

Taking her place on the catwalk, she eyed the crowd but was only slightly relieved that she couldn't make out faces at this distance. As the music started to play and "PORNSTAR DANCING" rolled from the speakers, her eyes widened. OH GOD. Well, in for a penny, in for a pound. Striking a seductive pose, she allowed her natural rythem to guide her as she took her first steps and then twirled around the bar. Oh hell, this was kind of fun she decided as all her lessons from her friend helped her work the stage. Nothin to it, she congratulated herself a few minutes later when dollar bills were tossed on stage and she leaned down to pick them up.

At least, right up to the moment she took note of the face holding one of the bills and he saw hers fully for the first time too. Well, hell.... There went the neighborhood. Because it was none other than her nemesis, Agent Brody Graham.

Sipping at his beer Brody wondered just how long he was going to have to stay here. Yeah, it was a strip club and normally any red blooded man would be enjoying the show. However, this wasn't exactly what you'd call a high class establishment and the entertainment thus far left something to be desired.

The dancers were way too skinny and looked like they were wired on crank or they were a little on the plump side and possibly retired from the more respectable clubs. All of them had the air about them that they couldn't quite make it in a decent strip club so they all ended up here. That was until this dancer just came on stage.

In the dimly lit club he couldn't really make out the girl's face but the body was rockin'. Athletic, toned abs, great legs. Long and shapely. Yeah, that's what he was talking about. He could get on board with this one. Taking another sip of his beer he was suddenly a lot more interested in the show and for the moment, the fact that he was there on business had slipped his mind. His eyes followed the lithe form as she danced and performed her routine on the pole. He even went so far as to dig out some cash from his pocket. Damn, a single dollar wasn't going to cut it. This one deserved at least a fiver.

As the song wound down and the dancer started collecting her tips, Brody held the bill out in front of him. When her fingers went to pluck the bill from his hand he got a good looked at her face. He blinked in surprise. Then he shook his head hard back and forth as if to clear out the cobwebs. When he still saw the face of the chocolate haired beauty he groaned audibly.

"COULTER? Is that YOU?"

Her hand still outstretched to grab at the money in his grasp he twisted his arm around and tried to grab at her wrist. Catching nothing but air though.

"Hey, wait. I want to talk to you."

The road to hell was paved with good intentions. Jessie could testify to the truth in that. Here she was on a case, trying to save some poor innocent fools life and what does fate toss in her path? The very man who'd tried to arrest her a year ago for attempted murder and had been set to guarding Andrew's hospital room. WOuldnt you know it, he just HAD to run her to ground at the WORST possible moment. Well, worst possible moment for her. Best moment for him, probably. Damn it all to hell. Why did this shit always happen to her anyways?

Back pedaling as fast as she could, the chocolate haired huntress mentally cataloged if there was any way to salvage the moment. Deciding to go with adapted innocence, she batted her lashes prettily at him in a way that the real Jessie would NEVER do and then grabbed his money. "Sorry sugah," she drawled out in a low, seductive tone. "Don't know who this Coulter is but I suppose I can be anyone you like.. for a price..."

Winking at him playfully, Jessie rolled back on her heels and then spun about, using her hair as a shield as she finished her dance. Luckily, nobody else in the joint seemed to be paying much attention to them and she HOPED she'd convinced him that this was not the droid he was looking for. Or, at least the woman anyways. Damn. What she wouldn't do for some of those cool Jedi mind tricks at the moment.

At the end of the song, Jessie wasted no time ducking into the back and didn't dare glance over her shoulder. Trying to gather her wits, she debated just scrapping the whole thing and calling in another hunter but that meant there was a chance someone else could die in the meantime. Which meant, until someone could show up, she was stuck and Mr. FBI AGENT had to be avoided.

Using the time she had to hang out with the girls and glean some information about the dancers, Jessie sat down at the station and blew out a breath. Conversation behind her ran wild and she learned enough details on sex life to make her want to mentally bleach her brain.  These were, without a doubt, the sort of women that gave strippers a bad name. One in particular stood out though because she seemed almost... Distainful of the others and there was a light to her eyes that made Jessie twitch. It was sly and furtive even as she encouraged the others to bigger and badder things.

Could this be her monster? Could be but then females were notoriously two faced so she'd have to see.

Just as she thought that, the woman got up and left the back for her set. Deciding it was worth seeing what she was up too, the huntress crept to the curtain and looked out even as music poured from their corner of the club. The woman was on Jessie's own stage and her "Come hither" smile was aimed directly at... Oh hell... None other than Mister Smexy Pants with a Badge.

Great. Just freaking GREAT. If she was really the monster, Brody Graham was now on her radar. Which meant, she had no choice but to stay around and make sure he didn't get his ass killed.

Damn it, she had slipped his grip and finished her dance. There was no way he was going to be able to get to her now that she disappeared into the back room. At least no way to do it without making a scene. Right now, he didn't want to make a scene. He was supposed to be keeping a low profile. Staking out the strip club he certainly didn't want to announce himself as being a federal agent.

He let out a sigh and took a sip of his beer. His eyes still watching the door to the back stage area. The next dancer came out and the music started. Brody grumbled a bit to himself. He was still debating on whether he should just say the hell with it and storm into the back after Jessie Coulter. He'd only wanted to talk to the girl though. It wasn't like he was going to arrest her, this time. Though if she started any crap with him he wasn't above threatening her with an arrest and losing the paperwork for about a week.

The woman was now getting under his skin and he wasn't sure why. He needed to put her out of his head and concentrate on the case at hand. Looking up he glanced up at the new dancer that had taken the stage. Just as he was starting to think that this chick couldn't hold a candle to Coulter his mind shifted. Suddenly he was mesmerized. This chick was hot.

Brody pulled his wallet out and started pulling out bills. Holding them out then trying to stuff several of them at once behind the elastic strap on her hip. The woman focused on him, her eyes meeting his. Locking on as she flashed a dazzling smile.

She continued with her dance. Brody was sitting up now, right next to the stage. His elbows propped up along the edge. He couldn't pull his eyes away from her. It was like she had him in a trance. As she started to leave the stage she came over and whispered in his ear. Then she walked toward the back room. Like a little puppy dog he got up and followed her. All he could think about was how much he wanted her. He had to have her.

Of all the times and places that Graham could show up.. Why had he picked tonight and here of all of them? Oh noooooooo.. he couldn't  just.. you know, pop into Beacon Hills for a beer at Curses bar or.. hey! Even pull her over for going to fast on the freeway? Oh no, he just HAD to show up when she was knee deep in a case that he could seriously muck up.

Mentally going over her options, the huntress watched as the "dancer" moved closer to the FBI agent. Narrowing her eyes, she caught the moment when Brody seemed to go from disinterested to fascinated and part of her, ok so maybe a big part of her, wanted to jump out there and smack the bitch off the stage. Thankfully though, her calmer self won that battle and she focused on the details.

 To anyone else, it probably looked much like any other dance but something about the robotic way Graham reached for his wallet had Jessie's instincts ringing bells all over. Oh yeah, there was something definitely up with the way the woman was holding the agents gaze and smiling.

oh no you don't, bitch. the huntress thought to herself even as she stalked out of the back and towards where Brody sat. The suspected siren saw her coming and scowled, ruining the pretty effect on her perfect face but immediately moving back from the edge of the stage. Yeah, thats right.. Keep moving, Jessie thought to herself and let a smirk settle of her lips even as their eyes met. This ones mine.

A flash of anger in the other womans gaze told Jessie that she'd gotten the message but she knew better than to think that would be the end of it. Sirens were notoriously vain and they didn't like their prey escaping them. Damn it to hell. She was so going to have to keep a close eye on Graham now.

Just was she needed. This was so her lucky night.

Letting a hand fall on Brody's shoulder, Jessie gave him a shake and then practically pulled him from his seat. Leaning to hiss in his ear, she muttered. "Graham, what the hell are you doing here? Get yours ass out of that chair before I do it for you. What are you? Stupid? I hope to hell you weren't flashing that badge around here cause otherwise you might end up dead in a gutter...."

Brody was feeling no pain at the moment, in fact he was feeling so good he couldn't help but have a goofy grin on his face. He vaguely wondered if something was wrong because he certainly couldn't be drunk. He'd only had that one beer he was sipping on just for show. Whatever it was he was definitely in his happy place at the moment.

He kept watching the mesmerizing woman until she suddenly left his vision. Blinking a few times he was surprised when he was tugged from his seat. Losing his balance in the process and almost tumbling over. Luckily, Jessie Coulter was there to break his fall and he found himself hugging her to keep himself standing up right.

"Well... Hello there Jess. Ya miss me?"

Regaining his balance he stood up, his eyes trying to focus but he was still feeling strangely happy for some reason. He couldn't wipe the smile off his face though somewhere in the back of his head he knew something was weird. Her words finally settled and he waved a hand at her. Trying to indicate that she had nothing to worry about, he had everything under control. The move probably didn't hold much water for her though as he was still in a daze with the dumb grin on his face.

"Pfffft. Don't you worry. Of course I'm not stupid. I didn't flash my badge."

He stopped rather suddenly, a quizzical look on his face as he seemed to lose his train of thought. Then started to speak again.

"Hey, you know what? You really are pretty. But... not nearly as pretty as that other... HEY?! Where did she go. Damn it, you made her go away. We have to find her."

Somewhere he knew there was another reason he had to find her, but he just couldn't remember what it was. Her beauty was on his mind now. She was so alluring he felt compelled to follow and try to find her again. Giving Jesse a wink.

"I have to have her. I gotta find her. If you want. Maybe you could join us? It could be fun."

Smirking he gave Jessie a quick wave but before she could do anything to stop him he took off toward the back door. Glancing over his shoulder and weaving through the crowd as quickly as he could. Then he finally found some open space and started to take off at a full run, busting through the back door and into the parking lot. He spied a figure just as they disappeared around the corner of the building and he took off after it.

The moment Brody looked at her full on, Jessie knew they had a problem. There was no longer any doubt in her mind that she'd found the right monster and she was definitely a man eater. Happy Happy Joy Joy. Just what she wanted to have to deal with. A love struck cop with a Siren addiction.

Yup, this was JUST her LUCKY day. And it appeared as if it was only going to get worse as Graham started to look about and mumble. Seriously? Jesus H. Christ. Who the hell had she pissed off in a former life to deserve this? Dealing with Brody on a normal basis was bad enough but this was just the pits. She just KNEW she was going to take the blame for this if it went bad. AGAIN.

Opening her mouth to reply to all his babbling, Jessie loosened her hold for just a second as she glanced in the direction the woman disappeared in. Part of her was tempted to go after her here and now but, unfortunately, she had a dumb ass who didn't know what was good for him to deal with.

Or at least, she HAD one till he shook her off and went chasing off after the Siren like some little lost puppy. Dear lord, save me, she muttered to herself even as she wanted to face palm herself. Or better yet, face palm Brody right into something that would knock some sense into him. He just HAD to go after the bitch, didn't he? In all honesty, she supposed it wasn't exactly his fault but damn it... She was going to have to rescue his sorry ass instead of taking out the big bad.

"God Damn it, Graham," she shouted after, lunging forward and navigating the crowd after him. "GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE."

Oh, he was so dead. Dean Man Walking.

The crowd made it hard to keep up but as soon as she stormed through the back door, her gaze was flashing around. Reaching into her bag, she quickly found the stash of blades and wasted a few precious seconds trying to find the bronze one. Once she got it in hand though, the huntress glanced about and then followed the direction she was sure Brody had gone. Only to discover him liplocked with the siren up against the side of the building.

EWWWWWWW, her mind mentally screamed even as she hissed. "BITCH, GET YOUR HANDs OFF HIM!"

Hearing the sound of her voice, the woman let go of her prey long enough to give Jessie a pissed off look. For a moment, her features flickered and the huntress saw her for what she truly was. 

"Damn, bitch, you fugly!" Jessie said, unable to help herself even as the creature turned and ran. The huntress wanted to follow but, unfortunately, she had an agent to deal with.

Moving to where Brody stood slumped against the wall, grinning like some idiot, the brunette smacked his face. "Earth to Grahame. Hello? Earth to Graham!" When that didn't get any reaction from him but a love sick smirk, she sighed and tugged him forward. "Come on, you idiot. I have work to do and I can't leave you sitting out here all by yourself. God, how the hell have you made it this long as a cop? Don't you know a bad guy when you see one?" she muttered to herself even as she pushed him towards his car. "And I swear to god, you are going to owe me so much for this..."
