The night was young still, but it felt like it was late to him after him and his hunting mentor had hunted down a pack of skin walkers with plans of turning more people into one of them in this small town outside of Beacon Hills, California. He didn’t know much about this town, but they were here to crash for the night. He had a few cuts and bruises from a scuffle with a few of the skin walkers, but luckily, he wasn’t bitten. It would have been bad news for him if he had been. He was sure his buddy would have killed him if he was bitten and he didn’t want to die this early in the game sure he knew this was dangerous, but still he had a hell of a lot more to learn and he was keen on learning it and fast.
He was a quick learner and has held his own thus far. They had parked somewhere in town and went their separate ways and would meet up later. Later meaning in the morning since his bud probably was trying to pick up a woman to nurse his wounds and play nurse, but that was something Warren so did not want to think about. Warren said bye to his friend and went on his merry way walking down the street taking in all the various places on the streets of this town. He didn’t mind walking alone he could handle himself… he had his duffle with him of course with various things that could help him out in a pinch.
He was unaware that this town was becoming infested with all sorts of ‘supernatural beings’ the things most people would think didn’t exist! Hell, he didn’t believe it at first, but things changed after that camping trip. It was something he didn’t want to relieve ever again. He didn’t like being a helpless victim and that is why he wanted to be trained to help people like his friend. Being a victim sucks. It is one reason Warren pushes himself so hard and trains as often as he can. When he has free time he is always in the gym or taking a run to stay fit… He wondered if this town had a gym.
He would have to ask someone if anyone knew where one is in town. He also needed to find a place to stay tonight. He found a local bar, his bag slung over his shoulder and headed into the bar, he walked threw the doors taking in his surroundings. People playing pool in one corner, darts in another, jukebox playing music with people dancing about. It made him grin to himself. It was nice to see that people still dance in some bars. He ran his fingers threw his hair and headed up to the bar, placing his bag in front of the stool he was going to sit on, before slipping on to it. He tapped on the tabletop to call the bartender over…
Once the Bartender was over he had asked for a beer and turned on his seat looking the bar over once again, grabbing the beer he sipped it and let his thoughts run wild a little, before turning to the person on one of the stools pretty close to him. “Excuse me. I don’t mean to be rude or intrude in your night especially if you are one who just wants to be alone. I just wondered if you might know of a decent hotel or motel within this area?"He had asked politely. He knew being a brood and bull headed might not get him anywhere so he went the polite route. “I am new in town and don’t really know much about this place.” He said truthfully, with a warm and friendly smile.
