huge ass spiders taking over the world he'd rather come face to face with man eating gators then big ass spiders, becoming a tasty snack to one of the things he hunts in the woods and swamps, that he will never find the girl of his dreams, overly crowded buses, getting sick with some un-cureable disease.

that he misses playing lacrosse, he once had a girl friend who got pregnant and terminated the baby ( he still has no idea about this) , he secretly hates his sister, most don't know that he likes to snowboard, he has almost been eaten by an alligator when he was out gator hunting.

Dom can be a laid back sorta of fella for the most part, but he can also be a bit of a pig head when he is with the fella's. What dudes head isn't in the gutter some of the times? He can be a little bit judgmental about a person till he really gets to know them, but perhaps that is because he doesn't really trust people too easily. It takes a while for him to open up to you and spill his guts. He is very hard working and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
history.
this is the story of my life
Dom grew up in the Mercier family and is the eldest of his other three siblings, his mother teaches second grade children and his father works as security guard for the beacon hills bank.
Everything was pretty normal for him growing up and he had an insanely average childhood. He and his sister would fight like cats and dogs, he secretly hates her she is so full of herself and stuck up always a me me me type of chick, and he feels bad for the man whoever decides to marry her. He thinks it would be a curse for the man instead of a blessing and that is bad of him to think seeing, as she is his sister after all. He gets along with his other sister and brother well.
Dominic went to school did the best that he could played lacrosse and could always be found working out he liked to stay in shape and be fit. Summer vacation's he was always busy with Lacrosse camp and spending time with extended families on their ranches, and spending time in the good old swamps of Louisiana going Gator Hunting with his uncles. It was something he had really enjoyed. It was a shame that these creatures needed to be killed, but they were dangerous to most people and could not be kept as pets and well it is a delicacy in those parts when it comes to stews and stuff.
Back in Beacon Hills, he never noticed anything out of the ordinary really, until the Hale house had burnt down when he was seventeen it was something that wasn't common in the town. Sure things like that happen in the big bad cities all over the world, but there it just wasn't really known in beacon hills. It really tore him up that had happened since so many had died in the fire and some of them had been children. Dom hates when children get hurt since they are so innocent and that is why he sometimes goes and visits the children in the hospital and gives them some small gifts and talks to them about their favorite animals.
He had a love for animals and a soft spot for kids, part of it comes from his family and the time he has to spend with them during summer vacations. What he didn't know was the girl he had been dating got pregnant and aborted the baby thinking he wouldn't want it and would reject her so she aborted it and ended up dumping him since she couldn't look at him and he never really knew why she dumped him or about the baby.
When he graduated school he wasn't sure what he wanted to do at one time he went to college on a lacrosse scholarship until he got hurt badly and broke several limbs. Due to repeat incidents in the game with an overly competitive player who couldn’t stand losing, and the fight that started afterwards because the team that lost were sore losers. They jumped him in the parking lot and it def wasn’t a fair fight.
He has pretty much healed since then and misses playing the game. His knee acts up sometimes when it is going to rain and is very cold outside. He was always really competitive and loved the rush of it so he feels honored to go watch some of the games when he can. He currently works for animal control in the beacons hills area and works as a park ranger for the Beacon Hill preserves and is a certified and license animal hunter during the hunting season to keep the animal population under control. It is what he learned growing up so this is what he likes to do till he figures out what else he may want to do with his life and if his life will embark on another path so he figured he may as well do what he knows.
He has recently noticed that there has been more and howling during the full moons, but has yet to find the source of said howls, but he does intend to find out.
