How long had he really been gone? Somehow he wasn't even sure as the days melded together during his captivity. That's what happens when you hunt alone and get caught. Sawyer was normally smart about his hunting life. Hell most of the time he didn't care if he lived or died but there was a blond and a little peanut growing inside of her that changed his mind. The thoughts of Lise and their unborn baby had been the only thing that kept him sane that whole time. The psychotic monster that had him locked up and drugged so he couldn't get free took its sweet time in trying to deal with the hunter. Apparently it liked to keep a grudge in the fact Sawyer had killed its mate. Months later after killing a full nest of those creatures with the help of another hunter that showed up here he was.
Sawyer had never done the loved ones thing in so long. Hell he wasn't sure of he loved Annalise, but he did care about her and the baby more then anything. He hadn't expected to ever be a father but now he would give anything to keep it. Swallowing thickly she slowly moved towards the door to the bar. He knew he was probably a little too skinny from his imprisonment but he just wanted to see her. God he knew she probably hated him. He hadn't even told her he was going on a hunt. He thought it was cut and dry but then the shit hit the fan. Now here he was hoping she didn't hate his guts, Sawyer wasn't sure he could live with that from his best friend.
The hunter chewed on his bottom lip as he pushed open the door and walked into the familiar space. A small smile played on his lips at how normal this place felt. Slowly he moved to the bar, sitting at his normal spot as he waited for someone to take his order. Eyes never stopped looking for the blond he was so eager to find again.
