Another Saturday night. Where the hell had the week gone?

It
was amazing how quick time could fly when you were rotating between
getting your ass kicked and kicking some ass. The bad guys just never
seemed to pay attention to nine to five hours and you busted your ass
all week long with odd hours and even odder projects.

By the time
the weekend rolled around, Chloe was more than ready to relax at bit
and have a few uncomplicated drinks. Ok, maybe more than a few but that
was to be expected when your body sported more bruises than a cheetah
had spots. It was a hazard of the job but that didn't ever make it
easier and it wasn't any wonder more than a few of the old timers were
alcoholic.

After all, the whiskey helped dull the pain and it was
better than all the questions a doctor would ask before prescribing
pain meds. As a hunter, questions weren't something any of them looked
forward to and avoided at all costs. Instead, she took her comfort in a
brown bottle or a pint of medicinal liquor. Better know as Jack, Jim and
Jose. A girls three best male friends.

That thought in mind,
Chloe Reynolds showered up, dressed up and headed out on the town.
Thankfully, there was a decent bar down the road from her hotel room so
she didn't have to go far before finding good atmosphere and rockin
music.

Feeling quite at home the moment she walked through the
door, she let a grin spread over her lips and headed for the front
counter. For a Saturday night, the place was buzzing but it didn't take
long to order a drink and then head to the pool table area to see if
there were any good games going. As much as she loved a good race in her
car, a good pool game came in a close second. That is, as long as she
was winning money while playing.

Finding an empty table on the
edge of the pool area, Chloe made herself comfortable and settled back
to watch. After a few minutes, she smirked and got up to lay her money
down on the edge.

"Ya'll mind if a lady tries her hand?" she asked sweetly.

Damion couldn’t help but chuckle at the smell of cheap alcohol in the air. These humans didn’t know their alcoholic beverages very well. Cheap alcohol equated to massive hangovers the next day, but whatever floated their boats was fine by him. He much rather preferred whiskey, the expensive, finely aged kind. Wine worked too, but one didn’t get the burn from wine that one did from whiskey or vodka. He liked both, preferred them actually. After all, what was a better fast working alcohol than a few shots of the good kind of whiskey? He smirked to himself before settling back, his elbows resting easily on the bar, having discarded his normal expensive suits for a more low key pair of black slacks and a black felt jacket, paired with a deep red dress shirt and black shoes, the dress shirt unbuttoned from the top few holes, his hair mussed and gelled to perfection.

As far as he was concerned, any day or night was the perfect time for finding another victim, and he was happy to dress for the part, playing whatever it was the crowd seemed to want to see out of people on that occasion, and in more instances than not, his ploys worked. Especially when he settled into a town, playing up rumors and rising fear en masse. He didn’t spend much time at the bar itself, instead preferring to get up and move around, lazing really, not even bothering to wander in any certain direction, stopping now and then to talk with someone he recognized, or to meet new people, his charm putting them at ease within moments, something he had to appreciate often.

Not long after he’d downed his second whiskey, he saw a group of guys gathering around the pool table, and he smirked, moving over to take place in the betting before joining in on a game. Damion was eager to kick some ass, and what better way to do that than to rile up the men a bit by doing so? He took his position at the table, and another man started the game, even as he grinned a him, moving around and casually brushing his hand against the man’s arm, gleaning his thoughts on a next move before he then settled to ruin his chances. It didn’t help that he adored anything to do with gambling money, so he was good at the game. Not long after he’d won the first game, and was set on starting a second, he saw a woman walk up to lay her money on the edge. "Ya'll mind if a lady tries her hand?" She asked sweetly, and the skinwalker smirked faintly, gesturing to her as the go ahead. ”Not at all, lass, join on in. I was just going to start another game anyhow.” He said smoothly.
