PERSONALITY

You would think that being a vampire would make life a bit easier. Wrong. Ezikel David Knight has been around for what he thinks too long. He had always been selfish, arrogant, strong willed, and a bit unhinged, even from a young age. Don't let his flattery fool you, as he loves to play with his toys. A complete and total narcissist, he cares about one of two things. Himself. And setting fire and watching everything around burn to ashes. 

His temper is quick to rise, and sometimes get him into more danger than he should, but always manages to come out on top. That it probably due to the fact that he plans for most things. Has lists that go as far into the alphabet as x, y, and even z. He prides himself on the work that he does, when torturing is victims, displaying his works of art for all to see. He wants them to know it was him, signing his name in blood along the walls, over and over again.

He can become more unstable overtime, obsessing over his goals. His mental state would get him thrown into solitary confinement were he human, with no access to the outside world. He is not someone that you would want to catch you walking down the street alone.  Ezikel's sexual desire is just that. He doesn't want to mate, or even know their name, chances are if you get picked up in a bar, you wont make it through the night, as he hasn't turned a vampire, he just kills all his victims. 

HISTORY

Ezikel David Knight was born to David James Knight and Tabitha Elizabeth Knight on January 6th, 1841. They were a pretty well off family. But he was the only child that they had produced. His father, David, was a strong willed pastor at a church, and his mother, died during childbirth. Although they had all the help that could have ever needed, she had gotten sick, due to an infection after giving birth to Ezikel, and died a few weeks after he had been born. 

Raised within the confines of the secular life, Ezikel had always acted out. He was always getting in fights, and even tortured one of the slaves that they had owned. North Carolina. Some little city in North Carolina. He would take to hours, playing with his toy, as he called most of the slaves. They were there for is gain, for his pleasure, and he took out most of his punishments out on them. Although it only started out as beatings, which he dealt personally, it grew into something so much more sinister. He was about 14, in a dark room of their house, a smile on his face, and a glint in his eye. There was blood smeared on his face, as his father approached him. He could tell that Ezikel hadn't been injured, but that it was one of the house slaves, one of the girls who worked in the house, that he had tortured for hours while his father was out. 

As soon as David was able, he made sure that his son was enlisted to serve in the military. He was sipped out of his fathers house, and he seemed like a normal, healthy, solid american boy that wanted to help the south win the war. He had been put into a special group of soldiers that did all of the interrogation of the captured rebels, and he earned more stars in special services to the South than he could count back then.

Shortly after his 23rd birthday, in 1864, the troop that he had been with, was attacked at night. They had heard of horror stories, and it was that some of them were true. Vampires had been roaming, taking out soldiers one by one. But when it came his turn, the vampire noticed something dark about him. He forced Ezikel to drink from him, and within a few days time, after he had killed a few of the surviving members of the troop, he had turned into a full fledged vampire. 

He wreaked more havoc in the war then ever before. He blood lust was strong, and he never simply drank, Ezikel would rip the bodies apart, piece by piece, and then string them up in the trees for all to see. It was a great game of cat and mouse. 

The war never prepared him for what came next. Men who knew about the dark side of the world. About the things that went bump into the night. Hunters. And they knew more than just about the dark side, they knew how to kill it. So Ezikel would have his fun, and then go into hiding for years, only taking stray kids, runaways that had already been missing, and then he would get an itch he would have to scratch, and he would terrorize a small town here and there, draw attention to the area, and then get out before the hunters could even begin to track him

And then Ezikel heard of a cute little town called Beacon Hills. It already crawling with hunters, Werewolves, Witches, and a resident vampire that disgraced the name. It was perfect and it was his. He gathered what things he did have, stringing up the last person that he had killed in Barrow, AK and made his way to sunny California.
