| It seemed as far from the glamorous job of a pole dancer, the whole paper work thing. If anyone knew the real person behind the persona they'd probably never look at her the same again. Delilah Cross, with her tortoise shell frame glasses, the pencil in her hair and watching YouTube videos as she sipped her coffee. Her paperwork was littered across the desk messily and she tried to keep up the work as she flicked through videos of local venues playing local acts. There was a lot more to running Seven Sins than just dancing around on the pole and tending the bar. She wished it wasn't. She'd spent more time than she should ever have wanted to doing paperwork. The truth was the place wasn't bringing in the money that it used to, it wasn't bringing in the clients and it sure as hell wasn't bringing in the unfortunate souls. Maybe it was a curse being in Beacon Hills. Most of the desperate and innocent were either werewolf chow or some lizard monsters play thing. Or just simply screwing their souls away too quickly to use them for something half useful. She was lost in her clicking, in the wailing of awful music hitting her ears and scribbling down accounts until something amazing happened. The sound consumed her and forced her head up. Her eyes locked on her computer and stayed hooked on the video until it's end. It was clearly recorded off a phone, shaky and bad quality but it was still amazing. She took note of the name and picked up her phone to connect her to the front desk. "Dennis... I'm sending you a name... I want you to find this guy and bring him to my office now... Thank you." There were definite perks to hiring psychic. So now she just had to wait and hope this guy gave to Dennis's persuasion. |
