I'm sure they figured it out early on
That I would never run.
That they could shoot but that's not fun,
Cause then they're killing their stolen son.

Isaac knew he had to get Allison out of here. The quicker the better. He didn't want to be alone, but he couldn't hurt Allison. If she remained, that would happen. Her words grounded him while she bandaged up his hands. He just wanted to tell her to go. His grip was slipping and he would lose himself to his inner wolf. His teeth were back and he could even hear his harsh breath in his own ears.
But she was soon scaling shelves to get to the vent. He glanced up at her, observing her for a minute. The last threads of humanity slowly fading. A small smirk formed at her remark before the beast took control. A growl escaped his lips as his eyes darted from vent to door. It picked door. He just kept hitting it over and over.
He wanted out. He didn't want to be here. He would be better, do better. He wouldn't mess up so much. If only he could get out. Get out. The beast in him continued to fuel the flames. His vision swimming in memories. He wasn't in the closet anymore. He was trapped in the basement. He had disappointed his father again. His father had pulled him down to the basement, kicking and screaming. His nails had scratched the basement floor the entire way before he was tossed into the freezer. Locked away from the world, where he was afraid that if he stopped, that he would be forgotten.
He yelled, human voice mangled with beat. He didn't stop banging. "Let me out!" Please let me out, he wanted to call. Wanted his dad to finally open the freezer door.
