I'm sure they figured it out early on
That I would never run.
That they could shoot but that's not fun,
Cause then they're killing their stolen son.

Isaac really hated when Professor Harris gave him a detention. He had gotten them all the time before the bite, sure. Mostly since he would never do his homework and sometimes fell asleep in class. But, for the most part, teachers had always left him alone. Most still left him alone. But there were some who were still quite adamant on having him participate and do his work.
He had to be the Chemistry Professor's gopher and it was not an easy task. He was running around the school left and right for the guy he was now deeming a slave driver. He had stopped at his locker to shove his blue hoodie in there. It left him in just his slate grey cargo paints, black boots, and long sleeved blue t-shirt.
He continued on his way to the supply closet, a list of supplies he needed to grab in his hand. He was not excited about being run into the ground by Harris, but he didn't want to just decide to leave and get in even more trouble. That would just disappoint Derek. Last thing he needed to do was disappoint Derek more than he already did.
With a sigh, the teen walked down the nearly empty hallways. Others were home or at after school activities. He'd much rather be running out in the woods with the rest of the cross country team, but here he was... stuck in detention. He figured he would have to do better so he wouldn't get stuck in this situation again.
But a sudden voice made him halt in his steps. The shift in air made him shiver and he held the urge to growl. His fingers gripped the paper as he took a deep breath to steady himself and turn to face the person who stopped him.
